Yesterday I was indulged in a conversation with an old man whom I really respected, value wise and money wise, he might be the richest man in town, or maybe the province, but yesterday, the conversation turns to a disagreeable end for my part, as true values and old cultural views clashed, it may not be the clash of the titans, but I know my value stands tall, although I do respect his beliefs.
My fiancee got this one sorry excuse for a father, which she cannot possibly pick by herself due to it is not possible. The man was and still is a loser for his whole damned life, he never worked a day in his life, spent his days gambling and drinking while his wife burns sweat to make a living for a family of 4 child, one of them even disabled and she's also caring and providing all their needs, and still the husband remains the same, he never loved the family and was only in for the money and good life provided by the hard-working wife.
Despite the fact that they finally got a divorce, and when they do, the father took like 90% of their money and went away to marry a prostitute, had 2 more kids, which ends up leaving him all alone again when his money supply depleted... and still he spent his days the same way when the wallet goes dry, but in a much, much more cheaper way. Now he's suffering from diabetes and a so-called heart disease, got gangrenes on his foot and still he acts like an ass and still he drinks and smokes... until a month ago he drops real sick and then this old man I really respected turns a helping hand and paid the hospital bills for her. Another history for my fiancee is that this old man is her brother in law, she has a cousin sister whom this old man remarry... so they're somehow related... her cousin sister's mom is the father's older sister... so yeah, they're somehow the only family he still got. I don't know what kind of story the father of my fiancee has been feeding them this last 12 years of his irresponsibility, but this respected old man are now pushing my fiancee to go and see her father and has stated that if she doesn't, then the public will view her as a child that does not respect the old cultural values... which according to the respected old man, goes like this :
"Whatever a parent has done, will be, and has to be forgiven by the child"
But why? well, only because they're the child's parent... whatever they has done? wow... that's a famous multi-interpreted line by itself, kinda reminds me of the wishmaster... I was in a conversation stating my disagreement for 2 hours without avail... and has gone home with a swirling thought in my head...
We as people, creature of the higher brain evolution, has the ability to view ourselves from multiple prespectives and has the enormous ability to make the choices that defines ourselves in our long or short life, no one, I mean NO ONE can make you do something you don't want to do in the first place, you chose to do it, point is, what you are right now is no one else blame, you made yourself.
A person like every other things in life, should follow a natural law, which is you will always reap what you sow, what goes around comes around no matter what, it's the law of nature, it's the true principal and true value in which I live on. So can a parent be forgiven for everything he has done only because he got 5 more seconds to life? screw that... let me give a soft example first.
So there are this one corn farmer... lets just say the corn will take about 30 years to grow fully... and the farmer had a hundred hectares of land... but he only planted one acre with cornseeds... never mend to them... never water them, never give them any sort of nutrition... he spent his days for 30 years doing God knows what... but never did cared nor give anything to his crops. And finally, the day of the reaping is near... and the farmer is sick to his ass and are about to die... and then knowing that he begs to his corn with the saddest look he could find and he says : " Corn... oh Corn... I'm so dissapointed with you... why won't you grow so I can reap 100 hectares of your wonderfully golden maizes... please grow to a wonderful crop RIGHT NOW..."
Then... the corns of his crops... replied to his plea... whispered and asks : " Why should I do that? you never cared for me... never mend to me, what you did for the last 30 years was everything for your pleasure and never worked even a day to care for your crops, so why should I give you my best golden maizes now?"
The farmer replied promptly : "Because I'm about to Die"
The corn replied promptly too : "So Die... "
Did you think the farmer got what he deserves or will the rest of the world curse his crops for being an ungrateful plantation because the farmer has gave birth to the corns only because he plants them but never cared about them?
Well if you're living by the rest of the world's crap of a parenting idea, you'll might want to reconsider after reading this more extreme story :
Once upon a time in the future, there's a Son and a Father. This father invented in purpose a virus that can kill the whole world's population... only because he wants to... and if the son don't kill the father right away, then 6 Billion people will instantly Die... who would you pick?
Let's just say the son is a follower of old cultural values that says a parent is above ALL...
Then he picks his father and let the rest of the world dies... wait... so there's no one left to tell the story of his courageous choice based on the old cultural beliefs right? who are he trying to please exactly? Well... this son didn't stop there... so being this time in the future so advanced and based on the fact that The Son and The Father are the only two living humans in the world, they had the privileges to go and talk to God.
So the son thinks that his choice is what God would want him to do in the first place... and when he arrives on the gates of heaven and in the appearance of the Supreme Being... he was so surprised to find his name on the list for hell...
He then speaks to God : Son : Dear Lord, I would like my name on the list for the Heaven. God : And why would I do that? You as human has been given freedom of choice, and you chose to let the rest of my creation die, all 6 Billion of them. Son : But I thought that is what you would wanted me to do! God : And why would you think that? Son : Because the old cultural values that my ancestors written 5000 years ago says a rule that I have to forgive my parents no matter what they do! God : My dear son... I'm the one who created your ancestors... and I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end... I think I've been around for more than a measly 5000 years... do you seriously think that my creations' rules would overrule the rules that I created?
And then the son and his father who killed the whole world spent eternity in hell...
Dude... you plant a seed of wind... you'll reap a storm... if you continue to blame everyone else for your life... you'll remain a loser... just like my fiancee's dad...
The symbol of all relationships among [rational] men, the moral symbol of respect for human beings, is the trader. We, who live by values, not by loot, are traders, both in matter and in spirit. A trader is a man who earns what he gets and does not give or take the undeserved. A trader does not ask to be paid for his failures, nor does he ask to be loved for his flaws. A trader does not squander his body as fodder or his soul as alms. Just as he does not give his work except in trade for material values, so he does not give the values of his spirit—his love, his friendship, his esteem—except in payment and in trade for human virtues, in payment for his own selfish pleasure, which he receives from men he can respect. The mystic parasites who have, throughout the ages, reviled the traders and held them in contempt, while honoring the beggars and the looters, have known the secret motive of their sneers: a trader is the entity they dread—a man of justice.
Ayn Rand - Galt's Speech, For the New Intellectual.
While I was sitting here watching the ceiling of my fiance's house and due to the fact that my Internet connection is now unavailable, I decided to write my blog, or to simply add another blog entry using my speech recognition program.
When I'm thinking about the job I am at right now, being a network administrator is kind of boring, it is, who else gets to sit 15 m high on top of a crane just to watch an invisible electronic data transaction going on air to air. Enough about my job lets talk about my life. I've always said to myself to get something big, you have to act we think of something big, I read once in a forum and one more in Yahoo answers about buying American citizenship, which describes that in order to become an American citizen ought to at least became a holder of a green card, a person have to initially invest in the business with a value of no less than US$1,000,000, that business has to employ at least 10 person and a business that involves exporting and importing goods from and to the United States is preferred. That's the gist of it. To tell you the truth, right now I don't worth that much, and then to add the fact that I still have to provide living expenses, buying a place to live, and a rainy day fund just in case, I have to have at least $2 million to get started as an American citizen or green card holder. That's a lot of money with the exchange rate right now with the rupiah would cost me 20 billion rupiah's to move there.
Now the real question was this why we need to move to the states? I'm sure if I can collect 20 billion rupiah in about 12 years, I would have a really lot of money in Indonesia and that would be equal to a very high living standard, if I were living so well, then why would I want to move? With my planning right now, I would be 37 at that time and I will have a child who are about 7 years old.
My trading skills are picking up, my capital is starting to gain, but the only explanation I can find for myself about moving to America was merely to have a better life/standard of living. I don't really like the sound of that, and neither were I'm sure if the rules would still apply 12 years from now, that's a lot of doubts going in my mind about going to the states, I will blend to the society at that age, but I think I will manage if it was only culture. Also some of my former plans to move overseas was hilarious, I can look back and laugh at them right now, but think about my plan about moving to Canada, I had to prepare two years of professional experience in my trade, capital of C$20-C$40,000, and I had to prepare a degree for my fiance.
all that was to satisfy the Canadian immigration point system, all of my dreams of going to Canada were recently wiped out after I visit www.notcanada.com from that website I have found out that most of the immigrants coming to Canada after having complete the so-called Canadian immigration point system, where highly skilled and highly trained experienced professionals. Sadly, most of them end up as taxi drivers, janitors, post man, and doing any other manual labor that every guy with a high school diploma can do. And almost all of them of certain ethnic group, consists of Indians, Asians, Hispanics, Middle Easterners, and any other non-Caucasian race. From that information alone I can conclude that the Canadians are very very strict on their conditions about who gets what job, and the highest point goes to, sadly, the color of the skin.
Well, that's the gist of it about Canada, and why I am not moving there. So that leaves the United States , because well I have a brother there, whom I'm sure can certainly show me the way around their system. I'm just hoping that the "buy US green card with US$1,000,000" rule was not a hoax.

Dear readers of my blog,
This year has given a whole new meaning for me, I've moved out to a new house, I got a new job and yet I stay at the old one too. Trading Forex was everything to me and it's still is yes I have to say my new job as network administrator was a good one but it is still a very boring one while I am not being paid for what I have done.
Or at least I felt that way, anyway enough talking about the job site to talk about the new life.
Here in this house I was given the freedom to do exactly everything I want, I have a few computers in my control I have a WiFi I have an unlimited bandwidth of 1 Mb per second Internet access, which I have been using to download every movie I want in the last few months-so to speak-my hobby were taken care off gracefully. The technology and freedom I have here was more than one of the things that I liked about this house, the people here love me, my fiancé loves me, my little dog loves me, and everything else there is here pays me respect, oh and I have to mention there are two more dogs Here that I really love to play with also.
However the routine appeals live here really bores me there was never anything new and there was never anything exciting happening in town or at all for that matter, I guess that was the down side of staying in a little town like a Pekanbaru.
Because one of my hobby is were seeing movies, watching TV series, and partying, and because none of that really happens here, things would get boring really fast, that's why I have my other hobby besides technology, I also really loves trading, it was my life and what brought me here, it is what I am and it is what I'm going to be.
I believe trading is my future cause I am getting really good at it, since I have found a group of private people that I am very dedicated to this job, my trading skills grew exponentially. My girlfriend/fiancée said to me the trading is a lazy man's job, who would want to hear that I get money from clicking buttons? But I can tell you for a fact that I do exactly that. I chose this career path because I want freedom in my every move and I don't want other people to govern me, I want to be a stay-at-home dad I want my kids to see me every day and I want my kids to think that every daddy works at home, isn't that sweet? But my dreams of having kids and other things are still a lot of years away, I still need to get myself a lot more trading capital to begin with, what I have now is not sufficient to support a family life, not to mention paying back all my debts to my mother.
The plan right now is to open a restaurant in the new house her-my fiancée-mother built us, I don't know why she did it but my fiancé assure me that it was out of love or maybe pride, but we didn't really care, now do we? All we care about is building a happy family and live our lives to the fullest.
Every word, paragraphs, and sentences you see above and read are not written by my finger, they are read and write speeds recognition program called Dragon naturally speaking preferred.
This blog post was meant to be the first published in the past for me to practice my English in manner of speaking because I believe my tongue gets tied when speaking in public without a text, guidelines, or previous practicing off the topics that I will be talking about, even in Indonesia language, the "Bahasa", it is still a hard thing to do for me, so it's time for me to practice, I have to start somewhere right?
Thank you for reading every word here, I appreciate you all that have been loyal to my blog, while I believe that there aren't many of you, Lord knows I am very thankful of you, because going public has helped me a lot in finding who myself was, is, and are going to be.
I Found this interesting article in a forex trading forum, enjoy :) Retail forex brokers or market makers handle a minute fraction of the total volume of the foreign exchange market. According to CNN, one retail broker estimates retail volume at $25-50 billion daily, [2]which is about 2% of the whole market. CNN also quotes an official of the National Futures Association "Retail forex trading has increased dramatically over the past few years. Unfortunately, the amount of forex fraud has also increased dramatically."
All firms offering foreign exchange trading online are either market makers or facilitate the placing of trades with market makers.
In the retail forex industry market makers often have two separate trading desks- one that actually trades foreign exchange (which determines the firm's own net position in the market, serving as both a proprietary trading desk and a means of offsetting client trades on the interbank market) and one used for off-exchange trading with retail customers (called the "dealing desk" or "trading desk").
Many retail FX market makers claim to "offset" clients' trades on the interbank market (that is, with other larger market makers), e.g. after buying from the client, they sell to a bank. Nevertheless, the large majority of retail currency speculators are novices and who lose money [3], so that the market makers would be giving up large profits by offsetting. Offsetting does occur, but only when the market maker judges its clients' net position as being very risky.
The dealing desk operates much like the currency exchange counter at a bank. Interbank exchange rates, which are displayed at the dealing desk, are adjusted to incorporate spreads (so that the market maker will make a profit) before they are displayed to retail customers. Prices shown by the market maker do not neccesarily reflect interbank market rates. Arbitrage opportunities may exist, but retail market makers are efficient at removing arbitrageurs from their systems or limiting their trades.
A limited number of retail forex brokers offer consumers direct access to the interbank forex market. But most do not because of the limited number of clearing banks willing to process small orders. More importantly, the dealing desk model can be far more profitable, as a large portion of retail traders' losses are directly turned into market maker profits. While the income of a marketmaker that offsets trades or a broker that facilitates transactions is limited to transaction fees (commissions), dealing desk brokers can generate income in a variety of ways because they not only control the trading process, they also control pricing which they can skew at any time to maximize profits.
The rules of the game in trading FX are highly disadvantageous for retail speculators. Most retail speculators in FX lack trading experience and and capital (account minimums at some firms are as low as 250-500 USD). Large minimum position sizes, which on most retail platforms ranges from $10,000 to $100,000, force small traders to take imprudently large positions using extremely high leverage. Professional forex traders rarely use more than 10:1 leverage, yet many retail Forex firms default client accounts to 100:1 or even 200:1, without disclosing that this is highly unusual for currency traders. This drastically increases the risk of a margin call (which, if the speculator's trade is not offset, is pure profit for the market maker).
According to the Wall Street Journal (Currency Markets Draw Speculation, Fraud July 26, 2005) "Even people running the trading shops warn clients against trying to time the market. 'If 15% of day traders are profitable,' says Drew Niv, chief executive of FXCM, 'I'd be surprised.' " [4]
In the US, "it is unlawful to offer foreign currency futures and option contracts to retail customers unless the offeror is a regulated financial entity" according to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission [5]. Legitimate retail brokers serving traders in the U.S. are most often registered with the CFTC as "futures commission merchants" (FCMs) and are members of the National Futures Association (NFA). Potential clients can check the broker's FCM status at the NFA. Retail forex brokers are much less regulated than stock brokers and there is no protection similar to that from the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. The CFTC has noted an increase in forex scams [6].

Moral ponderer by nature, optimist by choice, sceptic by necessity, cynic by experience. Uncertain as to what's going on and sceptical about received explanations. Hopeful about a few proposals but rarely about proposers or implementation, consequently hesitant to commit but content to remain a fellow traveller. Reasonably principled but probably a hypocrite.
